Ippolito Foundation Proud to Support the Doers & Dreamers Fund
The Ippolito Charitable Foundation is proud to support the Doers & Dreamers Fund, a new Vision Galveston initiative designed to help local entrepreneurs turn promising ideas into sustainable businesses.
Created in partnership with AMOCO Federal Credit Union, the fund provides microloans ranging from $500 to $5,000 to eligible Galveston entrepreneurs who have completed the MORTAR business accelerator through Incubate Galveston. The loans can provide flexible capital for practical business needs such as inventory, marketing and working capital.

For many emerging small-business owners, relatively modest amounts of capital can make a meaningful difference - helping purchase equipment or inventory, reach new customers, bridge a cash-flow need or take the next step toward growth. Yet newer entrepreneurs often have difficulty accessing traditional sources of financing.
The Doers & Dreamers Fund was created to help address that gap.
The initiative builds on the work of Incubate Galveston, Vision Galveston’s entrepreneurship program, which has already helped nearly 50 local small-business owners complete MORTAR’s business accelerator. By pairing entrepreneurial education with greater access to capital, the program is designed to give local business owners both the tools and resources they need to grow.
